Biography:He succeeded his father as 2nd Baron Cornwallis of Linton in September 1935. Chairman, Albert Reed (paper making); director, Barclays Bank, Whitbread Fremlins (brewing) and other companies. Awarded MC 1916; appointed KBE for services to agriculture 1945. MCC president 1947-48.
